Sixty cases of salmonella have now been reported in an outbreak linked to Subway restaurants in 22 Illinois counties, including Will County in the Chicago area.
Everyone who got sick is recovering, according to the Illinois Department of Public Health, which says Illinois usually sees just one or two cases a year of this strain of the bacterial illness.
