Kentucky native Lauren Bush and Nevada resident Rylee Gustafson nearly died in 2006 as a result of eating contaminated spinach, and since then have been tireless advocates for national food-safety reform.
Lauren and Rylee appeared in print advertisements on Thursday, July 8, in newspapers in their home states to help deliver the message that the U.S. Senate needs to urgently pass food-safety legislation. New and improved federal oversight of food safety will help ensure that fewer Americans will face the pain and suffering these two young women have endured.
