Make Our Food Safe coalition partners, Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), Consumer Federation of America, and U.S. Public Interest Research Group (US PIRG), hosted a press conference Wednesday with foodborne illness victim, Rylee Gustafson, to press the U.S. Senate to pass food-safety legislation. The groups revealed that 85 recalls of FDA-regulated food products have occurred since the U.S. House passed its bill 13 months ago.
